Arousing all five senses in one evening, your unique Clay Hill experience starts as you first drive in...the beauty of a private 11-acre nature sanctuary unfolding around you. The first restaurant in the country to be certified as a wildlife habitat and environmental sanctuary, Clay Hill Farm is home to over 100 birdhouses, nature trails with a lily pad pond and colorful gardens with tranquility brooks to stroll through or overlook from our generous cocktail/dining decks. Brick paths lead you from the rose arbor to a picture-perfect gazebo, where thousands of couples have exchanged vows and started their new lives together. Inside the 200-seat restaurant the walls of windows will bathe you in natural light- as you enjoy dinner overlooking the beauty of butterfly gardens, chef growing gardens and floral cutting gardens-Mother Nature’s handiwork alive and well- and celebrated- at Clay Hill Farm.

The sounds of nature surround Clay Hill Farm, with songbirds and tranquility brooks leading the peaceful outdoor symphony. Inside the restaurant, live nightly entertainment sets the tone for relaxation and romance. The passion for locally sourced ingredients is brought to life on every plate, from a menu that changes with the beauty and bounty of the season. Enhanced by herbs and vegetables harvested from the backyard gardens, Clay Hill Farm’s  palette-pleasing dishes honor a traditional and modern Maine experience- with taste, touch and aroma.

But, perhaps the greatest Clay Hill Farm difference- what truly sets this restaurant apart from all others, is the team. A family owned and operated restaurant in its 28th season, Clay Hill Farm is blessed with a staff of professionals who value the importance of building and maintaining relationships- both with the guests, and each other. Our team system of service nurtures the importance of positive collaboration-pampering you with traditional hospitality, and welcoming you with friendly, familiar faces.  It is not unusual to be greeted by any one of the three generations of Clay Hill family members committed to offering you the very best food and service on the seacoast!
