Our colorful garden paths, nature trails, lilly pond and rolling lawns,
offer endless backdrops for naturally beautiful wedding pictures,
and helps to decorate the Reception area.
Our iconic New England red barn is also a favorite photo spot,
and a short hop to oceanfront Ogunquit or Nubble Light,
can ensure pictures by the sea as well.
You might instantly love the sights at Clay Hill Farm,
but the peaceful sounds of the songbirds and tranquility brooks
complete the feeling of a private wedding sanctuary…all for you!

Our gazebo is available for your ceremony
if you love the idea of a garden wedding,
and our front lawn can accommodate a variety of tent sizes.
While you are taking your fabulous wedding pictures
in the sanctuary at Clay Hill Farm,
your guests can enjoy cocktails and culinary treats
in the comfort of our garden room,
outside in the beautiful gardens themselves,
or on one of our specious decks. 

Inside our lovely cocktail room,
walls of glass look out over the gardens
and a gas fireplace can be lit to take the edge off a chilly day.
Dinner takes place in our spacious Master Dining Room
surrounding a large hardwood dance floor
for your guests to kick up their heels.

Sit down dinners are our specialty at Clay Hill Farm,
catering to the multi-generational nature of weddings
and showcasing the level of service your guests deserve.
Daytime cocktail Receptions and customized tented buffet options
are also available.
Up to 180 of your closest friends and family can be seated
in the Main Room and Veranda,
add the cocktail room for Bridal Party privacy and
Clay Hill Farm Restaurant can seat up to 220 guests.
Tented Receptions on the lawn can accommodate up to 200.

Our award-winning staff will cater to your guests’
every need, pampering them with classic
New England hospitality.


Our menus reflect a passion for seasonal food
that supports local growers.

We'll give you the green start with natural beauty and the environmental credentials, but your commitments, your vendor choices and your personal philosophies will establish your unique shade of green. Here are some simple wedding tips to darken your shade of green:

•    Have the ceremony and Reception at the same location
Cutting down your carbon footprint by eliminating an extra leg of travel
•    Have your ceremony and Reception during the day in a month that is typically not too hot or too cold. 
Saving energy by reducing the need for  electric lighting, air-conditioning and heat.
•    Pick a location that has beautiful natural surroundings.
Incorporating nature’s beauty will help eliminate the urge to over-decorate.
Abundant decorations lead to excess waste and disposal.
•    Choose a menu that is in season. Local products are often quite seasonal, but organics are available year ‘round. Consider sustainable practices, not just national certifications. 
•    Update or personalize your grandmother, mother, or sister’s wedding dress. Wearing a family wedding dress or heirloom is a beautiful way to be green and honor someone close to you. Consider a brooch for your dress or perhaps a hairpiece that was in the family. Something to keep them connected and close.
•    Pick a color palette for your bridesmaids (if applicable) instead of a universal dress.  Maybe it’s one they have already or maybe they buy a new one. In either case you are ensuring that they will wear the dress again.
