The restaurant at Clay Hill Farm is a comfortable setting for special occasion parties, offering you and your guests award-winning food, ambiance & service amidst lavish lawns, private decks and colorful gardens.

An annual recipient of the prestigious DiRoNA, Distinguished Restaurants of North America, award for dining excellence, Clay Hill Farm was recently voted #1 in York County's BEST of the BEST for "Best Place for a Wedding Reception" and "Best Caterer". The first restaurant in the country to be certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a natural wildlife habitat and bird sanctuary, Clay Hill Farm was recently certified as an environmental leader by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.

Weather permitting, you and your guests can enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on a private deck overlooking the gardens. After the social hour, you and your guests would have the exclusive Veranda Room for dinner. The room fee for the private use of the gardens, deck and Veranda Room is $150. This room fee also includes the set-up of a beer and wine table.

A fully stocked bar is available for an extra $50, and our gazebo is available for wedding ceremonies for an additional $100.

Our minimum for private evening events is 30 adults with the party menu. Smaller groups may rent the space and order off our regular nightly menu. Our apologies, but we do not host private events on Saturday nights in season. A $150 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve a date.

The menus on this site feature beverage pricing, hors d'oeuvres, a sample nightly menu and our Dinner Parties Menu for groups over 30. Should you desire a special menu, perhaps a limited version of our nightly menu or a prix fixe complete dinner, we would be more than happy to work with you.
