The Reception is a very important part of any wedding, and should be as
personal and individualized as the ceremony itself. It is a time for
family and friends to celebrate together their happiness at the event.
We, at Clay Hill Farm, believe it is a time for the Bride, the Groom, and
their families, to truly enjoy the day, free from any last minute
Reception concerns. So, at Clay Hill Farm, we take as much time as is
necessary to discuss your plans for the Reception ahead of time, so that
on the day of the wedding, everything is orchestrated to run beautifully
and the family is able to mingle and entertain.
We are able to offer this service from the simplest of cocktail and hors
d' oeuvre receptions, to the most elaborate of gourmet sit-down feasts.
Our wedding consultants are professionally equipped to handle any and all
of your Reception questions and concerns, and our chef is always available
to create a special menu, if necessary, for the "Reception of your dreams".
Every wedding at Clay Hill Farm is exclusive with guaranteed privacy. All
30 acres of our elegant grounds are for you and your guests to enjoy
during the Reception. Daytime receptions begin in the morning and
conclude at 4:30P.M. Evening receptions begin at 6 P.M. and conclude at midnight;
with on-site ceremonies beginning at 6:30 P.M.
Evening weddings are limited and require income guarantees.
There are no hidden costs at Clay Hill Farm, we do not believe in
surprises. Facility charges and rental options are discussed in your
first meeting with our wedding consultant.
Once you have decided to have your wedding at Clay Hill Farm, a $750,
non-refundable retainer will be due to secure the date. Another $750
non-refundable retainer will be due 6 months prior to the event.
Once all the Reception details are in place our wedding consultants will create,
and send to you, a "wedding Reception estimate", outlining all discussed costs.
Fifty percent (50%) of this estimate will be due one month before the wedding.
The estimate payment is non-refundable. All monies received will be deducted from the final bill,
due at the end of the Reception. For evening Receptions, the first two deposits are $2,000 each.
A final statement of the number of guests, and the breakdown of meals if
a choice menu, is due no later than 9 am the Monday before the wedding.
Your final bill will reflect this number unless it increases. Should you
not inform us of any changes in the head count by Monday morning, your
bill will reflect the most recent head count given to our consultant. If
you have a dinner menu with meal choices and do not inform us of meal
breakdowns by 9 am the Monday before the event, an additional $3 per
person will be added to your final bill.
All prices are based on CASH/CHECK only and are non-refundable. All
prices are subject to change.
